Wow!! That accessory bit set has just come down in price...
Just before the end of the year, Carvewright announced that the bit set was going to see a price increase. My sponsor was at that increased price point for a while too. Then just the other day, not only was the price increase repealed, but a discount was implemented.
Holy frak, two reductions in a row. There has never been a better time to get one of these sets to complete your setup. Oh yeah, one other thing - get

I just love looking at this Carvewright machine - almost as much as I like using it. It's really a work of art. I'm so glad I bought it. There are very few tools I can say that about.
The Need for a Scanning Sled

I have got to get my butt in gear and put together a scanning sled. I have lots of stuff I want to use the scanning probe on and the only way that is going to happen is with a scanning sled. In case you need to make one too, the plans can be found here.
